Common shrimp Palaemon affinis
So much fun with these tiny guys. There are plenty of them in the weed stacks and the submerged railings around the Ti Point Wharf. They are very curious, when I try to photograph them they tend to approach my camera and crawl its housing and lens port.
The picture above would benefit from a better background, however, it’s an example of what these crustaceans do. I tried to photograph one crawling the brown branch (out of focus in the background). It swam towards the camera and tried to land on its port. I pressed the shutter a moment before the landing.
