What Happened at Ti Point?

Yesterday I went for a dive to the Leigh area. I was aware of the strong wind from the southeast so was very skeptical about the conditions. Anyway, I hoped the Ti Point wharf spot could save my trip. Unfortunately that was not the case. I have no idea what was happening there recently. The parking place was covered with a thick layer of a soft mixture of gravel and dirt. I could see the same mixture even on the wharf itself. And the visibility underwater was approaching zero, I have never seen something like that there. That means no diving for at least a couple of days.

Note: The picture is not from yesterday, you still can see some weeds and rocks under the surface. Yesterday I could not see anything.
