Playing Hide-and-seek in Seaweeds
This spotty wrasse joined me in Matheson Bay when I got to the area with stacks of these brown sea weeds. Technically they are not weeds, i.e. they are no plants, but the locals call them that way. It stayed with me for a couple of minutes, hiding in the weeds, then coming out of them to pose in front of the camera, then hiding again. I stopped and was just shooting hoping at least some pictures would show the cute smily face of the fish. The fish got really close to the camera … I was using a 10mm lens!
