Sony UW Lights Test After Rebuild

A shallow dive off the Browns Bay beach. I had no expectations regarding the life there. The main purpose of the dive was to test my Sony UW lights after a rebuild. They used to use 6V halogen bulbs and NiCd batteries, I’ve put LEDs and LiIons inside. They worked well, I could observe only one issue … they were too light. I will have to balance them with some lead.

Sabella spallanzanii is spreading fast in the bay. I remember seeing only a couple of them up until two years ago. Last year there were quite a lot of them … now they are everywhere. I am not sure how dangerous they are for the local fauna … anyway, they should not be here.
