Fish Soup at Goat Island

Today I almost didn’t get into water after I saw the swell and the crowds on snorkelers on the beach. I am glad I did, it was a real fish soup. Schools of trevally, snapper, various wrasses, butterfish, parore, kelpfish, red moki, kahawai, leatherjacket and who knows what else. I was missing blue cod and saw only one eagle ray … a scared one flying away.
