Wall Rich with Life

Rich underwater wallIt’s been more than a half of a year, yet I still have vivid memories on my diving in Reotahi marine reserve near Whangarei. Yes, the water was murky, the current was very strong, but the sea life was amazing. In the shallows there were those underwater “towers” reaching a couple of metres from the bottom. They had vertical walls and dark overhangs teeming with rich invertebrate life and plenty of reef fish around. The dirty water created that mysterious environment, where you don’t know what creature can emerge from the mist right in front of you. It’s the time to visit the place again.
