Friendly Blue Cod Again

This was not a very good dive. The sea surface was exceptionally calm (especially for Goat Island), yet the visibility was below the average. Also underwater I could feel quite a strong water movement, that made photography rather difficult.

However, I met a large friendly blue cod … the first time after one year at least. I saw a couple of small ones, but they were very shy and quickly disappeared in the kelp forest. This one was very inquisitive and a very patient model. It was also hungry I guess, it tried to steal the silicone mouthpiece from the snorkel I found on the bottom a couple of minutes before.
